ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The No. 7-ranked Georgia Southwestern men's golf team closed in dominant fashion Tuesday, firing a 6-under final round to capture the Peach Belt Conference Championship at the King and Bear Golf Course at the World Golf Village.
The Hurricanes finished at 5-under for the tournament (280-297-282), securing their second conference title in the past four years and holding off a strong push from Columbus State.

Round 3 Breakdown
Georgia Southwestern's championship was sealed with a complete team effort in the final round, highlighted by multiple under-par performances.
Sam Brown led the way with a 4-under 68, the lowest round of the day, closing with steady play and key birdies to secure both the individual title and the team victory.
Oscar Hammar followed with a strong 2-under 70, giving the Hurricanes a crucial second counting score under par and helping maintain separation from the field.
Stefan Rojas also contributed a 2-under 70, bouncing back after a tough second round to provide another key score in the championship push.
Sacha Corlouer added a 2-over 74, delivering a counting round that kept the Hurricanes steady down the stretch.
Jordan Jones rounded out the lineup with a 3-over 75, providing depth as Georgia Southwestern secured the title.

Georgia Southwestern separated itself throughout the week with elite team play:

Tournament Medalist
Sam Brown earned individual medalist honors at 7-under par, becoming just the second Hurricane in program history to capture individual medalist honors at the Peach Belt Conference Championship, joining Nicolas Escobar.
Brown's final-round 68 not only secured his individual title but also played a pivotal role in the Hurricanes' team victory.

Brown and Hammar were both named to the Peach Belt Conference All-Tournament Team following their first and second place finishes.
