Euson We Have A Problem

AMERICUS, Ga. -- The Georgia Southwestern baseball team takes the second game in the three game series defeating University of South Carolina Beaufort. 6-0 on Saturday afternoon.

GSW scored early on a Victor Sanchez two-run home run in the bottom of the second inning that gave the Canes the lead.

Chris Patterson recorded two hits in three at-bats and added two steals Patterson improved his average to .213 on the season and is currently third on the team in steals (5)

GSW added an extra four runs and six hits throughout the game and have outscored the Sand Sharks 16-0 in the first two games of the series.

Rijnaldo Euson wins his fifth game of the season and improved his record to 5-0 Euson hurled six innings giving up two hits and walked six batters. Euson got into some trouble at points in the game and was able to pitch out of the jams he put himself into to secure the win for the Canes.

GSW will conclude their three-game weekend series against USC Beaufort at 1:00 p.m. Sunday.
