AMERICUS - The Georgia Southwestern women's tennis team completed a season sweep of Albany State on Monday afternoon with a 9-0 non-conference victory at the Susan K. Smith Tennis Complex.
GSW (7-12) tallied a 96-9 advantage in games won against the Golden Rams.
Melinda Vansant did not lose a game in doubles or singles play for Southwestern. Vansant partnered with Kalie Douberly for an 8-0 win at No. 3 doubles before cruising through her No. 6 singles match with a 6-0, 6-0 victory.
Mollie McGowan did not drop a game at No. 3 singles and Victoria Ondo kept Jasmine Williams at love at No. 4.
The Lady Hurricanes defeated ASU 9-0 on March 13 in Albany.
Southwestern travels to Montevallo on Friday for its final road match of the spring, a 3 p.m. contest against the Falcons.
