COLUMBUS, Ga. - The GSW women's tennis team lost 6-3 to
UNC-Pembroke on Monday afternoon.
The Lady 'Canes took two of three doubles matches. Anna Faust
and Leady Cuellar won in the #1 position, defeating Linda
Tatala-Colin and Jenna McGary 9-8 (7-2). Laura Snyder and Sarah
Harrington won at #2, defeating Victoria Willis and Christian
Minnick 8-2.
On the singles side, Cuellar was the lone victor for GSW when she
defeated Tatala-Colin 7-5, 6-2 at #1.
The two teams decided to meet in Columbus when inclement weather on
Saturday prohibited play in Americus.
The Hurricanes fall to 6-14 on the season.
