DAHLONEGA, Ga. – Georgia Southwestern men's soccer dropped a 3-1 decision to No. 22 North Georgia on Saturday evening at the UNG Soccer Complex in Peach Belt Conference play.
North Georgia opened the scoring in the fifth minute before Jonathan Bedard evened the match for the Hurricanes six minutes later on an assist from Dante Johnson. The Nighthawks regained the lead in the 29th minute and added a third goal shortly before halftime.
GSW generated eight shots in the match, including six in the second half as the Canes pushed forward in search of a comeback.Noah Kasin recorded six saves in goal.
