MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. -- The Georgia Southwestern State University women's tennis team traveled to Milledgeville, Ga to take on #12th ranked Georgia College and State University on Thursday afternoon at the Centennial Center Tennis Facility. GC defeated the Hurricanes, 7-0.

The Hurricanes best singles performance went to Lina Benjelloun as she battled but lost both her sets (6-4) (6-3).
The best doubles performance by the hurricanes went to Geanna Richard and Sofya Kanarskaya who lost their set, 6-1.
The Hurricanes will travel to Saint Augustine, Fl on Saturday to face #5th ranked Flagler College and State at 11:00 a.m. from the Flagler Tennis Center.
