MORROW, Ga. -- The Georgia Southwestern State University men's soccer team concluded their 2023 regular season falling to Clayton State 3-0 on Saturday afternoon.
The Lakers had no answer for the Hurricanes defense in the first half resulting in a 0-0 tie.
In the second half the Lakers were able to break the defensive wall of GSW scoring three unanswered goals to secure the victory.
GSW ends the regular season with a record of 2-10-3 overall, 0-8-2 in Peach Belt Conference play. GSW advances to the PBC Tournament as the No. 6 seed and will face the No. 3 seed North Georgia in the quarterfinals on Monday, Nov. 6, at 6:30 p.m. in Dahlonega.
