Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Second verse same as the first

Mount Vernon, Ga. – The Georgia Southwestern men's soccer team tallied its second victory in as many days after defeating Johnson & Wales (Fla.) 4-0 at Brewton Parker College. The win by the Hurricanes improves their record to 2-0 to open the season.

The scoring attack was once again led by sophomore Ryan Wakenigg who tallied two goals on the afternoon, which comes one day after scoring the first goal of the Hurricanes' season against Southeastern University (Fla.).

Wakenigg wasn't the only GSW player to put a ball into the back of the net for the second straight day. Senior midfielder Shane McKay also buried a scoring strike against the Wildcats.

Junior KleesBatner Loembet-Makaya was also successful on a scoring strike this afternoon. The midfielder's goal today was his first while wearing the blue and gold of Georgia Southwestern.

The Hurricanes' next match will be their home opener against Florida Tech on Sunday September 11th at 2 p.m. on the campus of Georgia Southwestern State University in Americus, Georgia.
