DAHLONEGA, Ga. — Georgia Southwestern dropped all three games of its weekend series at 10th-ranked University of North Georgia, extending its losing streak to seven games as the Hurricanes fell to 4-16 on the road this season, 11-10 in the Peach Belt Conference and 18-20 overall.

Harman extended his on-base streak to 29 consecutive games while reaching safely in all three contests. Wainman and Murphy both pushed their team-leading total to 12 multi-RBI games and Wainman continued his power surge with a pair of home runs in the series.
Game 1 | North Georgia 4, GSW 2
Georgia Southwestern outhit North Georgia but couldn't overcome timely extra-base hits in the series opener Thursday night.
The Hurricanes grabbed an early lead in the third when Harman doubled and later scored on a groundout, and Wainman tied the game in the sixth with a solo home run to center.
North Georgia answered with three solo home runs, including go-ahead blasts in the fourth and seventh innings to pull away. Three of the Nighthawks five total hits in the game were home runs.
Harman led the offense with a 3-for-4 night, while Wainman added his homer and two runs scored. On the mound,
Evan Koehler (6-2) struck out seven across seven innings but took the loss.
Game 2 | North Georgia 4, GSW 3
GSW carried a late lead into the eighth inning Friday before North Georgia rallied for a walk-off win.
The Hurricanes broke through in the sixth inning as Wainman launched a two-run homer and Hogue followed with a solo shot to build a 3-0 advantage.
North Georgia chipped away with two runs in the eighth, then completed the comeback in the ninth with a game-tying triple and walk-off single.
Wainman finished with two RBIs, while Hogue accounted for the third run with his home run. Starting pitcher
Johnny Nutt (5-2) held UNG scoreless until the eighth and went the distance, finishing with 115 pitches.
Game 3 | North Georgia 10, GSW 2
North Georgia jumped out early and never let up in Saturday's series finale.
The Nighthawks plated three runs in the first inning and added to the lead throughout, taking advantage of early miscues to build separation.
GSW was held scoreless until the eighth inning when Murphy connected on a two-run home run to account for the Hurricanes' only runs.
Harman and McDonald each collected two hits, while the Hurricanes finished with 10 hits but stranded nine runners.
North Georgia (31-9, 22-2 PBC) has now won eight of the last 10 meetings between the two programs.
