INNISBROOK, Fla. -- The Georgia Southwestern golf team ended day one of the Copperhead Championship tied for fifth place, as they carded rounds of 291 and 286 for a 9-over 577 total score at the par-71, 7,209 yard Innisbrook Resort - Copperhead Course. 

Senior Vincent Norrman currently leads GSW as he sits tied for sixth place with rounds of 69 and 71 for a 2-under 140 card. Simon Estrada (75-69) and Saksit Jairak (74-70) are both tied for 18th place as they have a total card of 144. Elias Birkeland sits in the middle of pack, with rounds of 74 and 76 for a total card of 150 (+8). Chase McLain (74-77) and Cole Madison (75-76), who shot as an individual, both finished day one tied for 60th place with a card of 151 (+9). 

No. 4 Barry leads the team leaderboard after day one, carding rounds of 286 and 281 for a 567 (-1) total score. No. 24 Columbus State and No. 14 Lincoln Memorial sit tied for second place with a total score of 569 (+1). No. 3 West Florida controls fourth place with a total score of 570 (+2) while No. 1 Lynn is tied in 5th place with GSW and a total card of 577 (+9) to end day one. 

In individuals, Barry's Tyler Bakich controls first place with rounds of 66 and 71 for a score of 137 (-5). Ronan Kleu of Columbus St. and Dan Bradbury of Lincoln Memorial sit tied for second place with a card of 138 (-4). Flagler's Mauro Baez and Luke Haries of Lincoln Memorial are both tied for fourth place with a card of 139 (-3).

Round 3 will tee of at approximately 8:30 a.m. for the Hurricanes.
