GSW Women's Soccer Hurricane Highlight #3: Bahri Sets Career Saves Mark

AMERICUS - The No. 3 Hurricane Highlight of the 2012 Georgia Southwestern women's soccer season belongs to senior goalkeeper Amber Bahri who finished as GSW's all-time leader in saves with 347 career stops.

During her four-year career with the Lady Hurricanes, including three as a starter, Bahri earned an impressive 126 saves her freshman season, and 124 stops her senior year.

Those two campaigns rank second and third respectively in saves per season in program history.

In 2012, Bahri, a native of Suwanee Ga., passed the previous save mark of 292, set by former GSW-standout Christy Drabek.

Bahri's saves mark ranks third all time in the Peach Belt Conference.
