Allison records second consecutive shutout; GSW on a roll
Georgia Southwestern senior Stephanie Patrylo drilled the game-winning goal in the 51st minute and freshman goalkeeper Courtney Allison recorded her second consecutive shutout to lead the Lady Hurricanes to a 1-0 victory on Wednesday evening at Saints Field.
The Lady Hurricanes, winners of two straight, have recorded more Peach Belt victories in the past five days than the previous four seasons combined.
Patrylo picked up her fourth goal of 2010 when she took a loose-ball rebound in front of the goal and punched it past Saints goalkeeper Cristina Coca.
Flagler (5-9-2, 2-6-1 PBC) led the Lady 'Canes 9-6 in shots on goal and finished with a 10-0 corner kicks advantage.
Allison made nine saves. Coca stopped five.
