Today's softball doubleheader at Erskine has been cancelled due to rain and will not be rescheduled. The Lady Hurricanes return home to face Carson-Newman on Friday (3/12) in a doubleheader starting at noon.

The Georgia Southwestern softball team lost both games of a Monday afternoon doubleheader (3-0, 13-4) against Rollins College at Lady ‘Canes Field. Megan Wilkinson finished the day 2-for-4 with a triple, RBI and run scored to lead Southwestern at the plate. Gabby Buck was the only GSW hitter to pick up a hit in both games as she went 2-for-6 with a run scored and a RBI in the doubleheader.

After opening the West Georgia Invite with a pair of one-run losses - including a 4-3 decision to No. 2 Alabama-Huntsville - Georgia Southwestern stumbled in the second day of action, losing 5-0 to West Georgia and 7-2 to West Alabama.
