Select student-athletes from Georgia Southwestern State
University took some time out of their spring break schedule to
play a few games with friends. Games of BINGO, that is.
Members of the GSW Softball and Cross Country teams gathered
Wednesday to join in the regularly scheduled Bingo game held in the
Retirement Center at Magnolia Manor.
Eighteen residents from the Manor turned out for the games and gave
the Hurricanes a healthy dose of competitive spirit. The most
popular prizes of the afternoon were Diet Cokes and M&Ms, while
everyone also received a t-shirt courtesy of GSW Athletics.
The grand prize of the day was a GSW embroidered fleece
blanket. A good time was had by all -- everyone went home a
winner, and there is a standing invitation to come back again
soon.
The outing was sponsored by GSW's Student-Athlete Advisory
Committee.
Participating Hurricanes include: (pictured back row from l-to-r) Brittany Milstid, Tiffany Milstid, Kimberlee Tolbert, Brooke McLemore, Hanah Swinson, Gabby Buck, Brandi Pratt, Heather Denny, Mariko Nomura, Stevi Korczyk, (seated in picture from l-to-r) Katie Wooten, Candace Driggers, Jessica Martin and Anna Dankewich.
