The 2008-09 GSW athletics year has arrived. 

Men's and women's soccer players report begin practice today.  Cross country starts practicing tomorrow. 

All other student-athletes report for physicals on the 17th.

While the first regular season soccer game is not until the 28th (men's soccer vs. Barry U. at 4 pm), the exhibition season starts on 8/16.  Both the GSW men's and women's teams  will host Darton College.  Start times are 2 pm (women) and 4 pm (men). 

The men have their second exhibition slated for 8/20 at home against Middle Georgia College.  Kickoff is at 5 pm.

The exhibition season wraps-up on 8/23.  Both the men and women will be in action.  Opponents and start times are TBA. 

Both soccer programs are building around a strong nucleus of returning athletes while their recruiting classes looks to contribute to successful 2008 campaigns.
