Hurricane standout Craig Gibson earned an invite to play in the Canadian Amateur Championship after firing a 4-over 292 at RedTail Landing Golf Club in the four-round qualifying tournament in Edmonton, Alberta last week.

Former Hurricane standout Adam McKenney earned an invite to play in the Georgia PGA's Georgia Open after firing a 3-under par (69) qualifying round at Orchard Hills Golf Club in Newnan last week. GSW head golf coach Andrew Danna was a first alternate for the Open after shooting a 3-over (74) in his qualifiying round at Wilmington Island Club near Savannah. --UPDATE 7/30 -- Coach Danna will be joining McKenney in the tournament field.
