Members of the Hurricanes "White" team, who recently lost the
10th annual Blue vs. White series - an intersquad best-of-three
games competition held during fall practice, will be washing
vehicles.
This year's installment of the series saw a sweep by the
"Blue" squad, or "Blue in two" as they would say. Both games were
close. However, a rally from five runs down in the first game
provided the boost "Blue" needed to close out the series on day
two.
Chris Carroll was named series MVP after recording a one-out save in game one and a three-inning win in the finale.
The "Blue" team has dominated the competition as of late, winning the last four years.
