Redesigned website, new secondary logos added to branding package

AMERICUS - Today marked a special day in Georgia Southwestern State University Athletics history as the department unveiled a redesigned website and several new secondary logos in its continuous efforts to strengthen the Hurricane brand.

The website and logos provide alumni and fans with enhanced opportunities to show their pride and remain connected to the institution.

For the website, its the first major redesign since gswcanes.com launched on May 1, 2008. PrestoSports, the web host for the site since its inception, designed the new look and combined official athletic department content with the latest in digital technology and design. The most noticeable improvements include a larger main story section, an in-site video gallery and easier navigation. 

The new secondary marks were created by Partners Marketing Group based out of Marietta, the same design company that produced GSW's current primary athletic logos and university monikers in 2005.

All GSW marks are controlled under a licensing program administered by Strategic Marketing Affiliates.

Look for the new logos in upcoming Hurricane publications and on merchandise arrivals in the GSW Bookstore.
