The Hurricane Club, the official booster club for GSW Athletics, has released its membership levels for 2008-09. 

More contribution levels and added benefits highlight the changes from last year.  The most notable difference is the addition of golf options at Southwestern Links Golf Club.  Starting at the $250 contribution level, members receive one round of golf, which includes cart fees.  With a $400 donation, another round of golf is included.  That number jumps to four rounds at an $800 level.  A one year membership at Southwestern Links is available with a donation of $1200.

Fitness passes remain a staple membership benefit in 2008-09 and include use of the fitness center on campus, as well as the Desiro Swimming Pool.  Fitness passes are part of the membership benefit package starting at the $200 level.

Any member who contributes $100 will receive a Hurricane windshirt and two GSW Sports Passes, which entitle bearers admission into any 2008-09 Hurricane home game.  The number of passes and windshirts increase at higher contribution levels.   

All club members receive a Hurricane Club decal and subscription to the athletic department's monthly e-newsletter.

Contributions fund GSW sports and help provide the necessary capital improvements to athletic facilities.  Hurricane Club donations mean more athletes at higher skill levels, leading to more successful programs.  This help is necessary to bring all Hurricane teams to a competitive level equal with our Peach Belt Conference counterparts.
